Winner of the 2008 National Children's Alliance Volunteer Leadership Award, I founded this annual event to help build a stronger sense of community for Austin technology companies, and to engage more tech employees in the giving process. The Austin Cup has become a favorite annual tradition for this community over the past 20+ years. In its first 19 years, the event:

  • Raised $1.25 million for the Center for Child Protection (Travis County's Children's Advocacy Center)

  • Hosted 161 different technology companies

  • Fielded 706 teams, with 3,530 total bowlers

  • Had thousands of fans - colleagues, family and friends - in the alley cheering them on

While the event had to be indefinitely postponed during the pandemic, we are working to bring it back for our big 20th Anniversary showdown!
