Overview
Served as Chief Communications Officer for The SAFE Alliance, which had been recently formed by a merger between SafePlace and the Austin Children's Shelter. The interim name was LIFT Alliance.
Supervised all comms staff and channels, working as a small team to completely overhaul brand architecture, design and all collateral material and community messaging.
Handled all media relations, executive training and crisis communications.
Press outreach in pursuit of coverage of 'rape culture' in the city and on campus as a part of the opening of our Sexual Assault Forensic Center - Eloise House.
